ABOUT ME
I am a senior studying mechanical engineering with a concentration in aerospace engineering at Northwestern University McCormick School of Engineering. This summer, I will be starting work as a Structures Engineer for Firefly Aerospace. Previously, I worked as a Structures Design Engineer at SpaceX to, design components for Starship and Super Heavy Booster. At Northwestern, I am the powertrain sub-team lead of the Northwestern University Baja engineering car team, designing and fabricating the powertrain system for the 2023 vehicle.
PROJECTS
ATMOSPHERIC REENTRY
Delivering a spacecraft safely to rest on the ground from orbital velocities over 7.8 km/s (17,500 mph) is a complex process.
In an independent study at Northwestern University, I researched atmospheric reentry and hypersonic flight. I developed my knowledge of the aerodynamic forces acting upon reentry vehicles and the decisions that must be made when designing them.

RORORAIL
Worked with other Northwestern Students to develop a system for transferring freight between rail and truck for our client, Payson Wild. Our system is capable of transferring cargo quickly and efficiently between truck trailers and train containers without gantry cranes or heavy machinery.
